Today, we are sharing the story of a potential recipient of our funds: It is a family (mother and three children, two of whom are in college) living in a one bedroom apartment in Yonkers with a monthly rent of $980. The mother lost her full-time job at a Dollar Store, and the children lost their part-time jobs in retail. They lived paycheck to paycheck but have been unemployed for the past three weeks now and have no money for food and rent.

We’re running this fundraiser so that we can support those who are facing such financial difficulties — and if we all come together as a community, we can get the job done. So, please continue to share this GoFundMe and spread the word! It only takes a minute and it truly makes a difference.
