The Ardsley High School Music Outreach Club, also known as More Than Mozart (MTM), has launched a GoFundMe campaign for Greenburgh residents facing financial difficulties: Covid-19 Relief for Greenburgh, NY Workers in Need.

Since junior Elizabeth Chun founded MTM two years ago, its members have performed intimate concerts at the Ardsley Community Center, Greenburgh Public Library, Atria Woodlands senior community in Ardsley, and at senior homes and hospitals in New Rochelle and Yonkers.

Three of those concerts were fundraisers for Lifting Up Westchester, the White Plains-based organization that provides for the hungry and homeless, and also runs a summer camp.

“Our club is first and foremost a community service club, and our mission is to use music as a platform to help our community,” Chun said. “Covid-19 is an unprecedented crisis, and as we realized that it was resulting in workers right near us facing daunting financial difficulties, we wanted to help in any way that we can.”
